Robyn M. Brilliant, Esq.
Robyn M. Brilliant, Esq. has managed her own law firm since 1993. Her law practice focuses on complex civil litigation, which includes personal injury, wrongful death, no-fault coverage and insurance coverage. She represents clients in courts and arbitrations throughout New York, lectures nationally regarding the issues related to the practice of no-fault law, and has published articles concerning no-fault insurance issues (thus becoming a well-known authority in the field).

Desirée Ortiz, Esq.
Desirée Ortiz, Esq. is an associate at Robyn M. Brilliant, P.C. where she focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, no-fault coverage and insurance coverage. Prior to attending law school, Desirée worked as a Legal Assistant at the firm. Desirée received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Biology from the University of New York at Albany in 2006 and her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2017.
While obtaining her law degree, she externed as a Red Hook Peacemaker for the Center for Court Innovation and interned with the Disaster Relief Clinic at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She was awarded Dean’s List recognition.

Tori Buttrum, Esq.
Tori Buttrum, Esq. is an associate at Robyn M. Brilliant, P.C. where she focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, no-fault coverage and insurance coverage. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston University in 2014 and her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine School of Law in 2018, graduating with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. Tori received the CALI Award in both Evidence Law and Public International Law.
While obtaining her law degree, Tori externed for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile and Major Crimes divisions. She was also an Associate Editor for the Pepperdine Journal of Business Entrepreneurship and the Law.
